2021 NHGA Corporate Challenge

ELIGIBILITY: In addition to a player's agreement to abide by the NHGA Rules of Play Policies, the following criteria is required:

 

  • Company must conduct business in New Hampshire.
  • Teams may be comprised of four (4) employees (male or female) from the same company OR at least one company representative and customers or clients of the represented business.
  • The NHGA reserves the right to confirm the relationship between a non-employee and the company that they are representing.

ENTRY FEE: $1,500.00 per Team includes carts, range, pre-round lunch and post-round reception.  Teams may register and pay online via credit card or choose to skip payment and mail a check to:

FIELD SIZE: The maximum field size for this event is 30 teams (120 players).  Once the field has been filled, teams may register for the waitlist and will be added to the field if a spot(s) opens up on a first come/first served basis.  There is a two (2) team per company limit, however more teams from a company may be permitted to sign up if the field is not full.


STARTING TIMES: This event will be a 1:30PM shotgun start.


HANDICAPS: All players are encouraged to have an active NHGA GHIN Handicap Index.  Players needing to establish a handicap through a New Hampshire club can do so by clicking here.  Players without an active handicap will play at scratch (no handicap).


FORMAT: Two (2) best ball out of four (4).


DIVISIONS: Gross and Net Divisions.


REGISTRATION: Registration will begin approximately 90 minutes prior to the shotgun. Players will receive their scorecard, rules sheet, and other pertinent information when registering. Formal announcements will occur approximately 15 minutes before the start of the shotgun.


PLAYOFF: In the event of a tie for first place in the Gross Division, there will be a playoff after the round.  A tie for first place in the Net Division will be broken by a scorecard backup.  All other ties will be split.


PRIZES: Prizes in the form of pro-shop merchandise credit will be awarded to the top finishers in both Gross and Net Divisions.  There will also be closest to the hole competitions for both men and women.


YARDAGE & TEES: The NHGA will determine course yardage prior to the event. Male participants should anticipate playing WHITE Concord CC tees and ladies should plan on playing from the RED Concord CC tees.


FOOD & BEVERAGE: Lunch will be provided prior to the round and the NHGA will host a post-round cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres. Food and drink will be available for purchase during the round. Alcohol consumption is permitted during the round.


WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS: A $10 service charge will be retained by the NHGA on all refunds granted for any reason.  Entry fees will not be refunded within fourteen (14) days of the start of the competition unless there are extreme circumstances preventing participation in the event.  Withdrawals must be called in or e-mailed to the NHGA office.


CODE OF CONDUCT: In registering for any NHGA tournament, players agree to abide by the Code of Conduct and its penalties.  The NHGA expects all players, at all times, to act in accordance with the spirit of the game. Serious misconduct and repeated violations of this Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action and potential banishment from future NHGA events. Players are responsible for the actions of their caddies and spectators that may be following their group.

Decisions on violations of the Code of Conduct will be made by the Executive Director and the Rules & Competitions Committee with assistance from the Board of Directors. Decisions are final unless appealed by the player.
