2021 Mid-Amateur Championship

ELIGIBILITY: In addition to a player's agreement to abide by the NHGA Rules of Play Policies, the following criteria is required:

 

     Amateur Golfers Only:

 

  • Open to Male golfers who hold an active NHGA GHIN Handicap Index.
  • All players must have reached their 25th birthday as of October 5, 2021.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 05:00 PM


ENTRY FEE: Mid-Amateur Championship Registration Fee ($125.00 / Player).


FIELD SIZE: The maximum field size for this event is 112 players.  Once the field has been filled, players may register for the waitlist and will be added to the field if a spot(s) opens up on a first come/first served basis.  Please note: Players who finished in the Top 27 & Ties in the 2020 Mid-Amateur Championship will have a reserved spot in the field held for them until July, 26, 2021.


FORMAT: 54-Holes of Stroke Play cut to the Low 27 & Ties after Round 2.


WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS: A $10 service charge will be retained by the NHGA on all refunds granted for any reason.  Entry fees will not be refunded within fourteen (14) days of the start of the competition unless there are extreme circumstances preventing participation in the event.  Withdrawals must be called in or e-mailed to the NHGA office.


CODE OF CONDUCT: In registering for any NHGA tournament, players agree to abide by the Code of Conduct and its penalties.  The NHGA expects all players, at all times, to act in accordance with the spirit of the game. Serious misconduct and repeated violations of this Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action and potential banishment from future NHGA events. Players are responsible for the actions of their caddies and spectators that may be following their group.  Decisions on violations of the Code of Conduct will be made by the Executive Director and the Rules & Competitions Committee with assistance from the Board of Directors.
