2021 Players Invitational

ELIGIBILITY: In addition to a player's agreement to abide by the NHGA Rules of Play Policies, the following criteria is required:

 

     Amateur Golfers Only:

 

  • This is an Invitation only event.
  • The Top 30 & Ties the 2020 Thomas J. Leonard Jr. Player of the Year standings
  • The Top 10 & Ties from the 2020 Senior Player of the Year standings
  • The 2020 Host Club Champion

ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, May 24, 2021 at 05:00 PM


ENTRY FEE: There is no registration fee for this event.


FIELD SIZE: The maximum field size for this event is 40 players.  The event is open to the first 40 invited players to register.  At least 8 spots will be guaranteed for the Senior Division.  Once the field has been filled, players may register for the waitlist and will be added to the field if a spot(s) opens on a first come/first served basis.  Invited players have until May 1, 2021 to register after which the NHGA will begin to fill any open spots. 


FORMAT: 36-Holes of Stroke Play.


DIVISIONS: Regular and Senior (55+) Divisions


WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS: A $10 service charge will be retained by the NHGA on all refunds granted for any reason.  Entry fees will not be refunded within fourteen (14) days of the start of the competition unless there are extreme circumstances preventing participation in the event.  Withdrawals must be called in or e-mailed to the NHGA office.


CODE OF CONDUCT: In registering for any NHGA tournament, players agree to abide by the Code of Conduct and its penalties.  The NHGA expects all players, at all times, to act in accordance with the spirit of the game. Serious misconduct and repeated violations of this Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action and potential banishment from future NHGA events. Players are responsible for the actions of their caddies and spectators that may be following their group.  Decisions on violations of the Code of Conduct will be made by the Executive Director and the Rules & Competitions Committee with assistance from the Board of Directors.
