18-holes, Stroke Play - Stableford (Gross) / Quota (Net)

Stableford Format: The Stableford point system is an alternative way of scoring stroke play golf in which the object is to accumulate the highest point total.  Golfers are awarded points based on their scores on each hole; point allocations are as follows: 

                        Hole in One: 8

                        Triple Eagle: 12

                        Albatross (Double Eagle): 12

                        Eagle: 8

                        Birdie: 4

                        Par: 2

                        Bogey: 1

Quota Format: Individual Quota is a format in which golfers earn points for their scores on each hole, with the goal of accumulating enough points to beat their pre-set goal. An individuals quota is determined by subtracting 95% of their  handicap index from 36 (Number of Holes x 2).Golfers are awarded points based on their scores on each hole; point allocations are as follows: 

                        Hole in One: 8

                        Triple Eagle: 12

                        Albatross (Double Eagle): 12

                        Eagle: 8

                        Birdie: 4

                        Par: 2

                        Bogey: 1

Skins (Optional): Individual Skins, Gross, Cash Only, Collected at on-site Registration.

ELIGIBILITY

Entries are open to all amateur golfers who have an active NHGA/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate NHGA member course/club.

Note: Under Governor Sununu’s Stay at Home 2.0 order, Non – NH Residents who are not members at an event(s) host club are ineligible for registration at this time.

• A Non – NH Resident, who is a member at Baker Hill Golf Club, may register for this Tournament Series Event.

CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION

The Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the NHGA Rules of Play. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the Tournament Series sites. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.

GOLF CARTS, CADDIES & PULL CARTS

The use of golf carts is MANDATORY and are included in the player entry fee.

The use of more than two golf carts per pairing group at an NHGA Championship is strictly prohibited. See Cart Policy.

STARTING TIMES

Starting Times & Player Information will be assigned by the NHGA and will be emailed to all competitors and will be posted online approximately 5-7 days prior to the event. Courtesy practice privileges are at the discretion of the host club(s). Pairings may be found on this page, (see “Pairings & Starting Times” tab) or by contacting the NHGA office. This event is a Shotgun beginning at 11:00AM.

Players registering for Tournament Series Events may select their preferred group during the registration process.

On-site registration will begin approximately one hour prior to the event starting time. Teams should check in to receive scorecards, local rules sheets and other pertinent information.

Player withdrawals must be called in or e-mailed to the NHGA office. See Refund Policy for more information.

COURSE SET - UP 

Yardages will be posted online prior to the entry close date. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect playing conditions during the competition.

PRACTICE RANGE

The Practice Range will be available on the day(s) of competition courtesy of the NHGA.

The Baker Hill Golf Club Practice Range will be open one hour prior to the first starting time and will close at the discretion of the host club. 

A buffet will be available after the completion of play, at the cost of $30.00 per player.

Competitors looking to partake in the buffet must process payment prior to the registration close date. 

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each division. Merchandise certificates will be awarded and are only redeemable at Baker Hill Golf Club.

The NHGA does not post scores for Tournament Series events. It is the responsibility of the player to post their respective score.

REFUND POLICY

A $10 service charge will be retained by the NHGA on all refunds granted for any reason. Entry fees will not be refunded within fourteen days of the start of the competition unless there are extreme circumstances preventing participation in the event.
