ELIGIBILITY

Open to all junior golfers.

ENTRY FEE

Birdie Division 1 x $25.00 per Member Eagle B Division 1 x $25.00 per Member Eagle A Division 1 x $25.00 per Member

YARDAGES AND TEES

Yardages will be posted online before the close of entries.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may impact the playing conditions during the competition. 

FORMAT

18-holes of Qualifying Stroke Play to determine seeds for match play that will begin on Tuesday and conclude on Wednesday.

Historically all divisions have been coed, but a seperate Boys and Girls division has been established this year, for divisions that meet the size requirements. 

 

All flights will consist of 16 participants and the number of flights in each division will be based on the

number of participants registered and the discretion of the Director of Junior Golf. The NHGA reserves the right to cut the field after stroke play in order to fit the matchplay flight requirements. 

 

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the NHGA and will be posted online approximately 5-7 days prior to the Championship. Pairings may be found on this page (see the Pairings & Starting Times tab) or by contacting the NHGA office. Starting Times will begin at 8AM. 

REGISTRATION

There is no formal registration on-site for this event. Please be on your assigned starting tee approximately five minutes prior to your assigned time. Players will receive scorecards and other necessary information at that time. Player withdrawals must be called in or e-mailed to the NHGA office. CARTS

Players are required to walk the course. Parents and spectators may walk, but must stay on the cart path. Spectator carts are not allowed unless a spectator has a handicap requirement, in which case the cart must be approved by a NHGA Staff Member and the Host Club.

 

Caddies are permitted for this event. The Caddies are required to be under the age of 18.

FOOD SERVICE

Due to COVID-19, the NHGA will not be providing lunches for junior players in the 2020 season. Cash and credit cards are accepted for food and beverage purchases.

PRIZES

Pro Shop Prizes will be awarded to the top players in each division. 

REFUND POLICY

A $10 service charge will be retained by the NHGA on all refunds granted for any reason. Entry fees will not be refunded within fourteen days of the start of the competition unless there are extreme circumstances preventing participation in the event.
