116th New Hampshire Amateur Player Information 

 

• Practice Rounds - Players wishing to play a practice round should contact Portsmouth CC directly at 603-436-9791. Practice round cost is $70 for those competing in the Championship. Caddies or other guests will be charged the full guest rate. The golf course will be CLOSED for practice rounds after 4pm on Sunday, July 7th. 
• Golf Course Setup - Players should anticipate a yardage between 6,700-6,900 yards for stroke play qualifying. This will be based on weather and golf course conditions leading up to the Championship. 
• Driving Range - PCC has limited access to hitting areas on the driving range. Players should arrive with enough time to allow for a wait before hitting balls. 
• Golf Carts - Golf carts are not included in the entry fee. Those wishing to ride will need to pay inside the golf shop prior to each round. 
• Schedule of Events
  • Monday, July 8th - 18-holes, stroke play. Tee times range from 7:30am-9:30am and 12:30pm-2:30pm
  • Tuesday, July 9th - 18-holes, stroke play. Tee times range from 7:30am-9:30am and 12:30pm-2:30pm (The field will not be re-paired after round one. All groups will remain the same for round one and round two). If there is a tie for the final match play spot(s), a playoff will begin immediately after the posting of the final day two scores (subject to daylight). 
  • Wednesday, July 10th - Round of 64 matches (Note: The NHGA may conduct the Round of 64 and Round of 32 on Wednesday based on the weather forecast for the remainder of the week). 
  • Thursday, July 11th - Round of 32 & Round of 16
  • Friday, July 12th - Quarterfinals & Semifinals 
  • Saturday, July 13th - Championship Match (36-holes)
